Valerie Clark brings over 20 years of
marketing expertise to her work with her clients. Filled with communication,
planning and program implementation
success stories, her portfolio of experience
includes a wide range of
marketing activity—employee communications, training,
sales support and process refinement, competitive analysis, primary and
secondary research,
public relations, event coordination, product development,
print and broadcast production, and more.
Valerie built a breadth of
experience through her work as an in-house
marketing executive on the corporate
level. She founded Clark Marketing in
2000 in part to focus her energies and
talents on direct client work.
Valerie earned her MBA from
Bradley University, Peoria, and her BS in
Marketing with a minor in Public
Relations from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Ill. She has earned many
education credits beyond that in public relations, communications, business
writing and management. She is SmarterWork® certified in copywriting/editing,
Internet research, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. She has completed
Caterpillar Inc.’s brand training course, “Communicating Caterpillar: One Voice.”
Clark Marketing is a member of
the Peoria Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Valerie is an active member of the
Peoria Advertising Club, for whom she has served as Vice President and
Chairperson for the ADDY® awards competition.
She is a member of the Public
Relations Association and a charter member of Peoria Freelance Professionals.
